LATEST DEVELOPMENTS AT THE IPSALA CROSSİNG POİNT
A+A-
Today, beginning at 12 pm, there is a 7.5 km long queue of TIR lorries at Ipsala crossing point. That is a total of 370 lorries. Within the customs field, there is about 80 of our vehicles currently.

Within the meetings that have been realised with the Kipi Customs Administration, one can say that it has been transmitted to our counterparty that there are 200 vehicles who have their procedures recognised on a daily basis. However, if the vehicles come with a T1 declaration, the number of vehicles may increase to a total of 250. At this moment, it is of utmost importance to reiterate that our vehicles that are taking the Ipsala crossing point do need a T1 declaration in that process.

The situation between Bulgaria and Turkey is still going on and all lorries have been waiting since 30.01.2014 at Kapikule and Hamzabeyli Border Gates. There are currently about 150 vehicles waiting at the Kapıkule crossing point and about 50 at the Hamzabeyli crossing point.
