Avtoframos Moscow plant which manufactures Renault cars suspended the conveyor on 3 August for three weeks. All employees are sent on forced leave until 23 August. The decision on temporary suspension of production was taken due to low demand for cars. In 2009 the automotive plant has already halted the production twice, in January and May, after which the plant switched to two-shift work schedule.
